Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available to part-time and full-time undergraduate and graduate students.  There are several ways to finance your education. Some of these are a 

1. Government sponsored student loans,
2. Bank student loans,
3. Lifelong Learning Plan,
4. Provincial and Territorial Workers' Compensation Boards (WCB), and
5. Canadian Forces.

As well, full-time students may be eligible for grants, bursaries, or scholarships. You can find more information at Finance My Education in AU counseling.

Scholarships and Awards

The following is a list of scholarships and awards specific to SCIS program students. Please note that SCIS students are also eligible for many of the other scholarships and awards at Athabasca University. Refer to the Registrar's Student Awards page for a full listing of scholarships and awards.
