The online open learning format provided by Athabasca University has been an extremely rewarding experience. As a professional with a full-time career, the distance learning option was the only means to pursue my academic and career goals. I was seeking a Masters program from a well-respected University with a mature online computing program that could fit both my schedule and my personal interests. Athabasca's School of Computing and Information Systems has met this criteria. The instructors are domain experts in their field allowing for a broad range of course electives. They have a genuine concern for their students and are both available and flexible to ensure their students succeed.
