Individualized Online Courses

Individualized online courses begin on the first day of every month. Students must contact the MSc IS Administrative Assistant prior to registration in COMP 696, 697-699, and 676-680. Students taking the Essay, Project or Thesis Route will be granted a Pass/Fail grade. For further information on the Essay, Project or Thesis please refer to the MSc (IS) Essay/Project/Thesis page.
Registration
MSc IS program students can register online by completing the Registration Form and submit the form along with the course fee. If you are not currently a MSc IS program student you can apply to the program as either a program or non program student. You will need to apply prior registering in the courses listed above.
* Students wishing to take MDDE 621, must register through the Centre for Distance Education (CDE) as a non-program student in the Master of Distance Education program. As a non-program student, you will be permitted to register in MDE courses on a first-come, first-served basis, space permitting. For MDDE electives, the Centre for Distance Education registration deadlines and course tuition fees apply. To register in the MDDE 621 course, contact CDE. Register early!
** Students wishing to take POLI 580 or MAIS 656, must register through the Centre for Masters of Arts - Integration Studies. Registrations in these courses are subject to prerequisites and/or professor approval. Please note that MAIS course registration regulations and policies apply. Please check the MAIS deadlines and note that MAIS course tuition fees apply. To register in MAIS courses, contact MAIS.
POLI 580 and MAIS 656 have been added to the list of elective courses in the Career Track component of the MSc IS program as part of a proposed collaborative specialization with the MAIS (Master of Arts - Integrated Studies) program.
